  1. Utica New York: Oneida County Water Pollution Control Plant Upgrade:
Utica New York: Oneida County Water Pollution Control Plant Upgrade:
Paramount was contracted to install 30 Deepwells to facilitate a 30’ deep open cut excavation on Phase 1 of this $265 million dollar project. The dewatering team drew upon years of field experience to design a turnkey Deepwell System that removed the groundwater at the Water Pollution Control Plant located adjacent to the Mohawk River. Paramount is working on additional phases of this multi-year project.
  2. Wolfeboro New Hampshire: Pilot 4 Study:
Wolfeboro New Hampshire: Pilot 4 Study:
Paramount acted as the general contractor to successfully install groundwater re-infiltration beds. Construction of the re-infiltration beds included sheeting, dewatering, excavation and site restoration to facilitate a natural stone solution of a groundwater chimney which extended 6 ft beneath the brook. Paramount was commended for satisfying the sensitive nature of this project given its pristine NH wetlands location and critical watershed concerns.
  3. Rochester New Hampshire: Colonial Pines Sewer Upgrade:
Rochester New Hampshire: Colonial Pines Sewer Upgrade:
Installed 9 x 40 ft deep wells on each side of the Spalding Turnpike for dewatering and hydrostatic pressure relief of a fine sand formation. A Carrier pipe was Jack and bored over 300’ under the highway.
  4. Marblehead Massachusetts: Clifton Avenue Pump Station:
Marblehead Massachusetts: Clifton Avenue Pump Station:
Paramount was contracted to install 4 pressure relief wells below a confining clay stratum to facilitate construction of the new pump station. Tight site constraints required the wells to be pre-installed in trench boxes to achieve proper elevations and for shoring the project.
  5. Stamford Connecticut: Scofieldtown Park Landfill:
    Stamford Connecticut: Scofieldtown Park Landfill:
Paramount installed 8 passive stainless steel gas methane wells. The wells extended 40’ into an existing landfill with 10’ above grade to accommodate capping and venting specs. Difficult drilling of old landfill materials including logs, rocks and urban debris couldn’t stop Paramount.
  6. Upstate New York:
    Upstate New York:
Paramount Dewatering installed a large number of drilled Sumpwells with high volume submersible pumps to intercept groundwater from multiple springs that were preventing construction of pipework. For this project, there was no access to line power so a 250 KW primary and 350 KW standby generator were installed with an automatic transfer switch in case of a power failure to the primary generator.
